LIVE WEBINAR · NOVEMBER 4 · 2 PM ET
2026 did not unfold the way many expected.
At the start of the year, markets were anticipating lower interest rates, firmer property values, and a meaningful pickup in CRE lending and transaction activity. Then the backdrop changed. The war in Iran pushed oil prices higher, inflation reaccelerated, interest rates climbed and investor confidence weakened. By September, concerns about slower growth and persistent inflation had become much harder to ignore. For CRE, though, the story is more nuanced than the headlines suggest.
Office remains deeply divided, with some markets still seeing steep value declines while others are benefiting from AI-driven demand. Multifamily distress is rising in parts of the market as owners contend with slower rent growth, higher expenses, and maturing debt, yet other metros are beginning to stabilize. And throughout the year, liquidity has remained surprisingly strong, even as the cost of that capital has increased.
Join Dianne Crocker and Manus Clancy on Wednesday, November 4 for LightBox’s Q3 2026 CRE Market Update, a data-driven look at where the market stands heading into Q4 and 2027.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
One of the clearest themes of 2026 is that CRE has become increasingly uber-local. National averages only go so far. During this webinar, you’ll gain insights into:
And because the outlook is anything but straightforward, Dianne and Manus will close with their view on Q4 and what to watch heading into 2027.
Whether you work in environmental due diligence, appraisal, lending, brokerage or investment, this is one market update you’ll want in hand before finalizing your 2027 forecast.
