This session will take a deep dive into the evolution of municipal zoning, from the landmark Ambler Realty v. Village of Euclid case to modern zoning code interpretations. We will explore the obligations and responsibilities of property owners, including the unforeseen limitations that can arise when rebuilding after a casualty. Additionally, we will address how commercial lenders protect their loan repayments if a property owner is found in violation of zoning codes.
